Comments: I'm a retired AF T/Sgt. and served from 1947 to 1967. Last duty was with J-3, JCS, from 1961 to 1967. The first 18 months of that tour I was on a JACE team. I would like very much to hear from any and all who had duty in the JCS when I was there. Also I would like to know the best locator service for retired USAF people.

Comments: I AM LOOKING FOR A LIST OF THE AIRCRAFT THAT SERVED UNDER THE S.A.G.E. UMBRELLA BETWEEN 1962-1964. I KNOW THAT THE F-106 AND EC-121 WERE PRIMARY IN THE OPERATONS. WERE THERE ANY OTHER FIGHTERS, INTERCEPTORS, OR ELECTRONICS AIRCRAFT FLYING WITH S.A.G.E. AT THAT TIME? POSSIBLY F-102, F-101, F-4, EC-135, OR EVEN THE F-94 AND F-89? I'M NOT SURE. IF THERE IS ANY INFO YOU CAN GIVE ME ON THIS SUBJECT, IT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. THANK YOU.

There were over two dozen radar stations in Canada that were manned by the USAF. If you once served at any of these locations, feel free to contact the Pinetree Line web site at: www.islandnet.com/~rlecuyer/pinetree/homepage.html Many thanks.

Comments: Just found your site - will have to bookmark it and return later for a good read (this is my lunchtime!). Lucky enough to have flown in an EC-121 in late seventies up at Kef when it was all Reservist - I was on Shacks then and really enjoyed you guys company. I thought it all changed when TAC took over with the E-3, got a whole lot more serious. Flew E-3 for first time up at Kef too, did one of those inner German border missions during Polish crisis (was it '79,'80 or '81?) Later was on Nimrod AEW flight trials team (draw a veil over that!) and then from '93 to '96 was back on 8 Sqn - E-3Ds this time - and flew a million hours (only a slight exaggeration!) down in Italy on the Bosnia thing. Still active duty, now working for Boscombe Down (equivalent to Pax River I guess) looking at testing new kit when it arrives soon.
